Borrowing from Loanables members is a no-brainer!
It is secure - no need to provide a credit card number or any other financial info.
Loanables offers a money-back guarantee if you aren't satisified - up to $50.
It is usually much cheaper than other options.
It gives you an opportunity to meet someone else in your area. Often you can get useful tips & advice from someone else who has used this item before.
If you borrow instead of buy, then you're doing a good deed for the environment.
If you do intend to eventually buy, it's a great way to try out an item first.
Plus, it's very easy! Just click
"Borrow Me!"
to proceed.

How does this work?
When you click
Borrow Me!
, you will first need to log in (or create an account, which is free and easy.) Then you will tell us what days you want to borrow the item, and we'll submit the request to the owner by email. The owner can either Approve or Decline the request.
If the owner Approves the request, we'll send an email to both of you containing full contact info for both of you (name, address, phone number, and email). You can then contact each other directly to arrange logistics, payment, etc.
Submitting a Borrow Request does NOT commit you to paying anything. Even if the owner approves the request, you may decide later that you don't want to borrow the item, and you won't owe anything. Make sure you notify the owner in that case, as they'll be expecting you to come pick up the item.
